The Recreation Department will be sponsoring a Volleyball League for the youth in the area. If
you are interested in your child participating please call or Recreation office at 957-5280.
Our Recreation
Department will also be sponsoring a Men's Basketball League. We will be accepting sign-ups till August 30th, 2008.
The cost is either $50 per person or $400 per team. Games will begin September 7th, 2008.

Just one of the ways we are improving our community:
Our Recreation Director, Terry Bohannon applied for and was given a Greenhouse Grant for use by the Recreation
Department. Through this grant we have purchased a greenhouse and the supplies needed in order to cultivate some beautiful
flowers and other plants that will be planted throughout the city as soon weather permits. We will use these plants
to adorn or city entrance as well as public areas such as the park. We will also be using the greenhouse during the
Summer Camp Program in order to show children how they can grow there own vegetable gardens.
